Urs Albrecht, born 1962 in Mexico City, is a Swiss based Scientist and Photographer.

He began to take photographs in 1972 with an AGFA Isomatic box camera.

During the analog area of Photography he developed and printed images in black and white and color.

He provided cover images for scientific journals such as NATURE and EMBO Journal and won several prizes at international photographic competitions.

He is member of PSA, ISF and IUP and earned the EPSA, BPSA, ER-ISF and EIUP titles.
