Professional Summary

Sanjoy Sengupta is an Indian photographer based in Muscat, Oman, where he works as a senior process engineer in the oil and gas industry. A passionate traveller and self-taught photographer, he began photographing in the late 1990s and developed a strong interest in people, culture, traditions, architecture and travel photography.

Since 2015, he has actively participated in international photographic salons, achieving more than 2,500 acceptances in 71 countries and receiving over 110 awards. His works have been exhibited in the United Kingdom, Oman, Bangladesh and India, and have also been featured by Nikon Middle East and Africa and several photographic organizations. His travel stories and photographic essays have appeared in international publications.

He holds numerous international distinctions, including EPSA, BPSA, AFIAP, LRPS, FFIP, GPU Crown 3, EIUP, RISF6, ER-ISF and AMoL I. He is a member of several major photographic organizations, including PSA, RPS, FIAP, FIP, GPU, ICS, ISF, IUP and the Master of Light Photographic Association.
