by zorand Padmanabha K GAMoL I India Recognized within the Master of Light distinction system Professional Summary An EX- BANKER, -K G PADMANABHA developed interest in photography when he attended a photography exhibition organised by YOUTH PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY(YPS), BANGALORE during his college days. The works of distinguished photographers SRI RAJAGOPAL , SRI B SRINIVASA, SRI H SATISH and few others inspired him to pursue serious photography. He joined YPS CLUB in 1980 to seek guidance and learn vital aspects of artistic photography through workshops organised by the club. He won the top award under the category “Beautiful people” in all India photography contest conducted by KONICA – a film roll manufacturing company in 1981.He did trekking in Western Ghats on hundreds of occasions, Himalayas for more than 35 times and widely travelled in picturesque countries like Norway, Iceland, Scotland etc to photograph beautiful landscapes. Several of his landscape pictures have won awards and acceptances in national and internationals photo salons.Besides landscape photography he started exploring other areas of photography like bird’s wildlife, people, street, cultures etc after buying a digital camera in 2010.
