Gangadhar is an Indian nature and wildlife photographer whose interest in photography began in childhood. Inspired by landscapes, flowers, butterflies and wildlife, he gradually developed a strong passion for documenting animals in their natural habitat, with a particular interest in macro photography.He is a Life Member of the Youth Photographic Society, Bengaluru, and a member of FIP and FIAP. He holds several distinctions, including FRPS, EFIAP, EFIP, Hon.MFIP (Nature), Hon.FBCA and Hon.G.APS. His FRPS distinction was awarded in 2013 for a panel of twenty wildlife photographs, following his ARPS distinction received in 2011.Gangadhar represented India at the FIAP Nature Biennial World Cups in 2012 and 2014, when the Indian team won Gold Medals in the Print category, along with Gold and Bronze awards in Projected Images. More than 1,200 of his photographs have been accepted in exhibitions across around 40 countries, earning numerous medals, awards and certificates of merit.
