I was born on 8th September 1944 in town Zlin where I live and work. I studied at school of polygraphy and later I graduated from the Institute of Art Photohography. I work as a teacher in Secondary Polytechnic School in Zlin. My specialization is  graphic design for media focused on polygraphic production.

Into 2006 year I work with colour and black and white materials, with system negative – positive and I specialised in black and white photography of countryside, landscape, portraits, details which I elaborate with different photographic techniques – hight contrast, rough grain, solarisation..etc.

From year 2007 I work with digital cameras. My interest is about landscape, scenery, countryside, details, people, architecture, reportage – sport. Adjustement  I do on computer in programme Adobe Photoshop 7 CE or Adobe Photoshop CS 4. I employ possibilities which programme offer me – retouch, sections, frame and regime – grade grey, RGB colour, contrast, brightness, balance colours, saturation, nuance tone, filters – texture, soft focus, art filters, structure, grain…etc.

NATIONAL ACTIVITIES:

I am a member of three photo clubs.

a) Photo club “ REFLEX ZLIN “ was founded in 1969. I have been the president of this club with a long-time tradition . We participate not only in salons in the Czech Republic but also abroad. We organize individual and photo club exhibitions.

b) Photo club “ MOMENT ZLIN “ was established in 1976. I hold a post of an organizing worker in this club. I organize and arrange both individual and photogroup exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. 6 members our club have distinction FIAP – AFIAP and 2 members have distinction FIAP – EFIAP.

c) Photo club “ MOMENT – S ZLIN “ is a club at the school where I work . I am the president of this club. The club members are young people at the age of 16 – 19. I hand not only practical but also theoretical experience on these young photographers. We organize individual and club exhibitions / 125 / together and take part in salons not only in the Czech Republic but also international salons.

 MY INDIVIDUAL EXIBITIONS:

I have had 86 individual author´s exhibitions in the Czech Republic and other exhibitions abroad: Minsk – Belorusia, Linz – Austria, 6 exhibitions in Slovakia – Kosice, Vlkolince, Povazska Bystrica, 2x Ruzomberok, Piestany.

I have participated in 241 salons in the Czech Republic where I have won 116 prizes and awards HM.

I have taken part in 742 international salons and I have won 69 prizes and awards HM.
