As with many photographers of my generation, I have progressed from film to digital over the years. Initially my interest in photography came about from wishing to record scenes whilst on my travels and family events, for which I used a Fujisca ST 605N 35mm SLR Camera purchased in 1978. I purchased my first digital camera in 2008, a Olympus E410 and being digital this allowed for a lot more freedom to experiment and practice the art of photography. In the last couple of years,  equipped with a Nikon D7100, the participation in Photography Salons has given an extra degree of focus and thought to the process of capturing images. In the future I hope to develop my artistic approach to the visualisation of thoughts and emotions, that the medium of photography allows.
