Stefan was born in 1981 in Bucharest, Romania.

Unlike so many photographers he didn't discover photography until later in his life, 2024 marking his sixth year since he first stepped into this wonderful world.

Stefan is passionate about getting out, travelling, mixing landscape and travel photos with his huge passion for sports photography.

Stefan is passionate not only about photography but also writing about it, his articles covering different topics such as power of stories, personal drama, fostering creativity and more.

Since 2020 he is a regular contributor to FujiXPassion, a magazine dedicated to Fuji users around the globe, with 22 articles published to this date.

He is the author of " More than Photography" book and six travel photography books and ebooks and he is constantly looking out for new ideas for his books.

Stefan is a member of International Sports Press Association(AIPS), Romanian Sports Press Association(ARPS) and a member of Photographic Society of America.

He currently holds the AAPG, EAPG, QPSA, ANPS, APBA, EPBA distinctions and starting from today the cMol distinction too.
